Default Why Tint Windows?

I'm really debating whether I should get my car tinted or not. I have PPW and I noticed that it doesnt get hot inside even tho its 90+ outside. I had a silver car with 15% tint. It kept the car cool but it was hard to see out at night especially when backing up. The only reason why I want to tint my windows is because I have leather. With proper care such as applying conditioner/protectant to the leather DO I really need to tint my windows? But I really don't want to. Thanks!

Why not just do 35% ? You can see out of it fine at night....and 35% tint on a white car looks a lot darker than 35% on a black car IMO.

Tinted windows make your Z more aerodynamic . . . increases your average MPG.

Try driving in the Vegas summer without tint.

Your car will be close to 180 degrees inside after parking it for a short length of time.

Actually 35% is legal in most states, anything less is illegal!
Peace!

My PPW looks just like "ericjackson" post. nice dark tint on the PPW looks clean.

I have 5 percent rear and small sides next to b pillar and c pillar.

and 15 percent roll ups. car is very cool in hot texas weather and clean.
i have sun roof too and stil stays cool.

jason!

I have a ppw and I have 30% tint and the car looks clean. A friend had a white rsx and put 5% tint and I did not like the way it looked so I chose the 30% plus it is legal. And cops look out for the car as it is, I personally don't want the extra attention.

Sorry I'm new to the forum and cannot post new threads. So anyway I wake up this morning to find that someone broke my taillight. I'm a little pissed to say the least. I call Nissan and they tell me 3 to 4 weeks. I'm not driving with a broken tail light for 3 to 4 weeks. I looked online with no luck. Any suggestions???

Sorry to have picked this thread. I was working for 24 hours straight last night and I'm a little sleep deprived. I thought this web site was designed to help each other out. Again sorry to have bothered you guys.

it is, but don't pick a post on tinted windows for you to gripe about your broken taillight. Figure out how to post a new topic, then post in in the correct forum. Don't cloud somebody elses topic with your needs.
