It looks like its saving a huge amount of weight just by cutting the glass size by a third.

This is the same concept as my 67 Lotus Europa, looks like they copied it except for the engine holes behind the rear window. I thought of this myself, but of course I don't have the resources to produce it. I would be interested in buying this. Weight savings must be big.

Wing is separate.

I also e-mailed them for a price quote.

Heck, we just need one person to order one of these, then let one of the replica barns "borrow" it for a few days...

Bulletproof carries their products, they are a dealer, but of course this is fairly new so they may not have listed it yet.

With a cut out/drop window like that, i would suspect it would definately affect airflow over the rear.

its similar to my sister's Del Sol...then you would really need a wing to keep that rear end from getting light at high speeds..

Ha, I used to have a Del Sol... loved that car (I was riced out with the best of them back then).

You're prob right that it will affect the airflow, though I'd think it would let air come down and hit the flat hatch area, creating more downforce? Notice the hatch also has a molded in OEM-like lip spoiler. Perhaps they were testing aerodynamics at the Nurburgring, hence the taller wing struts?
