Default 350z Passenger Seat Removal - Any guides or insight?

I need to transport some items that won't fit in the hatch, so I was wondering if any of you had any insight or if there is a guide available involving the removing and re-installment of the passenger seat. If the trouble is more than I'm willing to bargain for (I definitely don't want the seat to end up rattling, etc.), then I'll just end up transporting the items by other means.

I tried searching for related topics but all I got were posts relating to seat covers and racing harnesses. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Its simple, there are the four main bolts holding it in, then disconnect the plug which I assume is airbag related, then work seat out

A16 hit it... You can remove and reinstall this thing in about 5-10 mins (TOTAL) without breaking a sweat...

Cool, this is definitely going to help me out a lot; thanks.

I'm going to check if I've got the tools necessary to get that seat out; take it easy ya'll.

Yes its very easy. You'll just need one ratchet and socket (I want to say 14mm but I haven't done it in awhile) and it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

iirc, it is recommended you disconnect battery if you have side airbags. just don't close the door if the window's up.

Thanks for the info - I just bought an 06 Roadster and there is an amp under the passenger seat. The positive battery cable came loose and I couldn't get to it any other way. I was nervous about removing the seat (fearing it was a longer process) until I came across this.

Cable is secure and thumping quite nicely now. Thanks!
