Default Need Help - New to Mods

Aight Fellas,

Its time to get rid of my stock bumpers and get some new ones. I want to keep my budget under 500-700. Is it possible to get a kit in that price? Not just a kit, but of course, something i would like?

Any assistance is appreciated.

there are definately some kits in that price but dont expect to be able to paint it. Painting and prep work alone will cost you more than your budget...then you still need to buy the kit.

also depending on the quality of the kit will determine how much prep work you will need.. and if the kit doesnt fit well the bodyshop could bang you for extra...

If you dont have to get full bumper replacements u can go to http://intensepower.com get the greddy front lip in urethane for like 200 plus shipping, or they have a abs front lip for around 245 painted plus shipping this would free up some extra money for paint/prep. on the sides and rear, and would be cheaper. also you could just get a rear lip aswell be cheaper.

but if you want full bumper kit expect to pay between 1200-1400 for prep/paint and installation at a body shop.

here are some other sites that have kits for around 700 :

http://www.body-kitz.com/enter.html?lmd=38944.056609

http://www.racerwheel.com/exterior-b...plete-kit.html

www.bodykits.com (that was my orange civic on the top of the home page before i sold it for the Z . BOdykits.com and wingdoors where 2 of my sponsors w/ the civic)

This is awesome!! I have to check it out in detail, but this is very helpful. I'm getting anxious to make the change. I have the leman sunset color - I'll check with a few shops to see what they would charge for a paint job and the rest, just to get a heads up.

Thanks!

I think i've finally decided on the look i'm looking for. This is it! Any place else I should look to find a better price, or I can't find a better deal?

I just purchased the GReddy front lip and side skirts from Intense two months ago. Also decided to go with the Veilside version 1 rear skirt instead of the GReddy one. Intense is awesome to work with. My kit arrived in perfect condition and the price is good in my opinion. One thing to consider... even though it costs extra consider getting the front lip and rear skirt molded to the bumpers so they are effectively one piece. otherwise you will have a slight gap. i have a redline, but here are a couple of photos with the kit. i can pm you if you want more.

LOL. You know I swear by Intense these days. The real beauty was when my kit arrived and I took it over to the body shop. They couldn't believe the immaculate condition of the kit. After reading so many horror stories in this forum area in particular... i am even more impressed. kudos.

Hello,

http://www.intensepower.com/infrlipsp35.html (Kouki)

This is the only front lip specific for '06, that we're aware of at this time. VeilSide has advised us that they will be producing one, however, and I'm sure that trend will be followed by all the major manufacturers given some time. D.
