Default CF Hatch Fitment

Are there any companies out there that make a CF hatch that fits perfectly? I've seen a few Seibon ones and some don't fit flush with the rear bumper, it juts out some. Any other companies that make a CF hatch for our car other than Seibon?

Another question I had was regarding the OEM trunk lift dampeners, would they work with the CF Hatch?

with any of these carbon over FRP parts, fitment is very car specific. In other words, they fit differently on different people's cars, as each one comes from the mold a bit differently, and more importantly, each owner/shop invests various amounts of time in getting it to sit perfectly.

To get truly grade A fitment, you'll have to look at parts that are far more expensive than Seibon. Given the price the Seibon is (well under $1000) it's a bargain even if the fitment is slightly off.

The OE dampers would technically work, though I would not run any damper on anything fiberglass based

^ just like he said if you want top notch parts your going to have to pay top notch dollar....your looking at around $1000-$1500 just for the hatch then you would probably want the lexan window (another $3-$400).

I have seen Seibon 350z hatches that fit perfect. I have a Seibon hatch on my RSX and it took some time, but fitment was damn near perfect. Alot of the time I think fitment issues come from improper installation.

Thanks for the info thus far. I've seen pictures of the Top Secret CF hatch, does that come with the spoiler molded on or no spoiler? Has anyone had this installed on their car?

Here to support Adam at Z1, for they are a authorized dealer of Varis and so if you wanted one you can go through them. You'll get great service from him. Goodluck.

i think i'll head over to mastergrade and see if they can do a test fitment before I buy off them. I like how the spoiler is molded into the hatch.
