Hey I don't know if any one else has the same problem but my passenger side door handle has started to bubble. It looks kinda like how tint would bubble. Any ideas? Could i just stick a needle in it and smooth it out like tint?

This is covered under warranty. Had mine replaced.

 

I am at 32,??? so do you think the dealership will still cover it???

 

it is covered up to 36k with standard warranty, i need to bring mine in for the driver's door handle bubbling as well

 

It bubbles? I didn't know there was a plastic film on it :/.

 

its not a plastic film, its like a thick *** paint, what u see isn't really aluminum

 

My driver's side just started doing that.

My '05 driver side door handle started bubling about 1 year after i owned it.

 

For what ever its worth---Handles are not that expensive and a snap to take out and reinstall

 

I just bought a used Z and brought it into to the dealership. I pointed out that my driver's side door handle is bubbling. The service manager said that it is not covered under warranty because exterior parts and trim are only covered for 12k miles or 12 months which ever comes first. My Z has 15k miles and he said that I was SOL. I thought that the car came with a 36k mile / 3 year warranty?!?
