Default Seibon fitment issues.

Do both the TS model and VS model hoods make slight contact with the strut bar or is it just the TS model?

The TS's vents look deeper than on the VS and I was wondering if that's what makes the contact with the bar? The VS's don't appear to be as deep.

I have only heard of the VS2 not fitting with aftermarket strut bars or plenums, not the OEM. I think the fitment issues have been fixed since the early batches.

VS2: Hits Crawford Plenum, Hits APS PLenum, Hits Factory strut with 5/16 spacers added, Rubs OEM plenum with 5/16 spacer added, and it will probally hit some aftermarket strut bars. I found this out the hard way..

Good info to know. I'll forward it along to Seibon.

The VT hood fits ok with 5/16 spacer but not with crawford plenum and crawford strut bar.

your hood doesn't rub on the plenum a little? mine hits ever so slightly. i guess some are different than others.

I just picked up a TS hood and have the crawford plenum....... I am having fitment issues, have not had much time to play with it, but have not driven my car in a week because i cant get this stupid hood to close lol.......and i have a feeling that if i dont slide it a little down i am going to have a gap too. We will see what happens, i might try the drop method soon, i feel a safer way is just to kind of sit on it slowley releasing a little more weight to it until you hear it latch or a sound you dont like haha
