Default Where could I find widebody install pics?

Hi everyone! I used the seach but could not find anything related, so I decided to ask.

I've been looking for information and pictures about installing widebodykits on 350z, especially rear fenders such as Top Secret, Do Luck and Mastergrade (more like a full fender than just Veilside type arches).

I'm interested to see the modifications to cars frame and how much metal need to be removed.

Pictures or project pages, anyone?

You are going to mod the frame? What kit are you going to go with? You can check out mine for some pics of the kit molded on and stuff.

I couldnt find any "project" pictures about widebodies or any other bodykit fitting pics from zmodified.com, just very nice "finished" cars.

I don't have any bodykit yet, but I'm interested to know how much metal you have to cut or roll away from the original fender to allow wider wheels for the widebody fender.

So I'm looking for pictures of standard (rear) fenders that have been cut, but without the new widebody rear panels in place, so I could see the modifications that are left hidden under the new panels.

I'm also interested to know what kind of mods people have done to inner fenders (I think the correct word is wheelwell?) with widebody kits.

Cheers!

You have to trim/cut the wheelwells or remove them completely. As far as the rear fenders go you just have to cut them really high. My kit is much different than the other kits in terms of width but no matter what kit you get you will have to cut the fenders I would say a good 4 or 5" higher. It sounds like you are thinking of putting on a widebody kit yourself and I would definately advise against that due to the details that you must pay attention to especially when molding the kit. It costs some money to have it put on and then you have to get the right offset but in the end it is worth it if you don't half @ss it. BTW parking and traffic situations become a real b*tch.
