That would be a big $$$ maker to produce a CF hard top like the s2000

there was talks and rumors that nissan/motorsports were thinking of doing a hardtop for Chris Forseberg's new convertible Z, because for a while there, Forumala D would not let him compete with it, even with it's intricate cage, since it was a convertible. BUT seeing as he's campaigning that car now with just the cage, i'd bet that the idea was scrapped. There really no place to bolt the hardtop down in the back of the car in any case, the Z has a nice cover to stow it's top, unlike older miatas and S2Ks and the like...

It seems as if car companys ONLY make a hardtop, if the vehicle only comes with a softtop, with no option at all of a coupe. For example, the s2000, boxster, z3, z4, z8, miata, are all soft top only cars, but every one of them have a hard top that can be purchased.

The only coupe/convertibles I can think of that have a hardtop, are the 3 series BMW, and the 911. I would love to see a hardtop Z roadster though, I think it looks amazing!
