Just got my new Z!!! Here is my story!
Ok Z fans. I will take some pics of my new baby this week and post. Oh forgot to mention the BMW 3 series test drive. Hated the fake wood and touching the brakes would send me bolting for the windshield. My wife and I left wondering what was all the fuss over the BMW?? I guess every manufacturer has its koolaid. The Z was the sweetest of all! YUMMY!

I wonder how much he would sell an IF enthusiast for. Im guessing yours was a Track?
congrats on the car and welcome to the z forum
im 19 but i have some very knowledgable people in my circles, so i had good advice going into my purchase. i called costco and got hooked up with their salesman at nissan dealerships to invoice. then i called every nissan dealership in the area to beat invoice. then i called every dealership to see what price below invoice they could gave me. when all was said and done(also known as a month later after taking a month to decide on the z in the first place) i had gotten it down to 500 below invoice. This was very difficult to do and took a lot of work and patience but this is a very expensive car and i would definitly suggest this route to everyone who is looking to buy the car. the last part of my story is that they misplaced my order and therefore did not get the order in before the factory stopped making 06 Zs. so im getting an 07 ppw enthusiast, anyone know about the 07s?

I doubt I really could sell my stock navi for a whole lot cause people that are buying them usually are looking for aftermarket. I've seen the Alpine one that uses a harddrive to store the information and the maps even have like 3D buildings and such, it's awesome.
i almost did business with kirk, thank god i didn't. he tried to charge me $31,250 for my 06 enthusiast...i went to baker jackson south where i paid $30k driveout for my lady. silverstone enthusiast
I am still gushing over this car. Just put new Avon 550's on them. WOW what a difference in ride quality. I wanted the IF with nav touring edition. My local guy said there were two in Houston and that was it. They wouldn't budge more than $500 off msrp so I just called three dealers internet sales deptartments and Kirk was the guy who called back. When he said $100 over invoice, that was fine with me. I said he was 10% BS. He "gave" me a full tank of gas but then charged me $36 for it in the paperwork! (Along with an extra $200 for tint)
He was very nice and easy to deal with and I don't think it could have gone better. Turns out my friend in Houston I stayed with lives a mile from him and he picked me up and took me in. Really can't fault him and the experience was as good as it could have been. The system makes it so that salesmen will charge what they can get out of you instead of giving everyone the same deal. That's why they get such a bad rap and deservingly so. One Chevy dealer refused to let me drive a vette unless I promised to buy it first!
On a positive note, we really do have the best sports car bang for buck in the world. I feel so spoiled every time I get in it!

Talked to kirk last night. Seemed like a nice guy. He offered 300 over invoice. I find that fairly reasonable. I told him my story (being in afghan, not buying till I get home etc) and he was very cool about it. He quoted me at 29k and some change for a 06 mt IF enthusiast. If the guy in Iowa cant do better, he will likely get my business. He wanted to get one local that the dealer had only recently taken in, so that there would be less chance of it having nicks or small scratches. I also mentioned you, so if I go with him, he knows you referred me.
