any tips on sealing headlight?
i painted it black inside and tried so hard to seal one of the head light, the other one got messed up on the lens. the one i tried so hard to seal leaks like there's no tomorrow, but the one i didn't seal doesn't leak at all...any tips on how to seal it properly? thanks
heat it up again, and pul it apart, and reseal it w/ a clear rtv sealant. just remember the tiny screws, screw them in after the rtv is applied, this will help it stay 2gether while its drying

Next set, Im going to use self leveling urethane caulk. Its great stuff iv used elsewhere. It is a little thinner, and flows to low spots in places that cant be reached with silicon, and levels perfectly flat. When it dries, Its very pliable and would be easy to disassemble if you need to later.
Actually --I believe that the original sealant is a urethan base rather than a silicon
