Blue Bat overlays
Headlight overlays.. Originally I wanted the complete headlight overlay from Bluebat, but I just read some things about them causing stress cracks (which I dont entirely understand) but now I am looking at still buying some blue bat overlays but they don't cover the entire headlight would they still cause problems?
here are the ones I'm looking at...

This issue dates back to 2003 and continues on the 06 headlights, even without overlays.

So I know you will be biased considering you sell these but I would like an honest opinion and think you would be have knoweledge more than a lot of other people on this..do you think that overlays is the cause of this? What would overlays do to cause this problem..it doesn't make sense to me that they would be a cause of it.
also how much do you think the full headlight overlays affect night vision?

And regardless of if you think they are the problem I will still be ordering because I would like to get the zh1 overlays, or the zh3, and the zbl3 rear bumper overlays all in 6/10
also, how do I go about ordering these from you?

Honestly, if I thought the overlays(not just mine, but all the other makers as well) were the soul reason for the cracking, I wouldn't be selling them for the Z Headlights. I've looked into this in depth for quite a while now, and after reading all the posts, it seems the Lexan Nissan is using is not the sturdiest. Again, you have to look at how big the 350z headlamps are to begin with. Plus, you have a bend at the middle. Its not your normally shaped headlamp assembly. I had these on my Z for 2 years with no issues whatsoever. Several members from our SoCal group sported them as well with no issues. I put them on my Viper Headlights without a 2nd thought. It seems this issue is with the 350z only. From what I've read, Nissan is replacing cracked headlamp assemblies under warranty.

Well, I just recently bought mine and it's an 03 with no cracks whatsoever and I really would like to get the full headlight covers but I'm just worried about how much of a difference they make with night vision, also how the headlights look at night because I like having the bright headlight look.

The overlay DO NOT cause stress cracks on the headlights. I never used the headlight overlays and I have the cracks on my headlights. I have used his overlays on my rear turn signal and my rear strut tower and the quality is top notch.

I have Bats headlight overlays on my car for 3 years now. No sign of cracking whatsoever. 3 other buddies have them as well and no signs no stress cracks, but I know a guy who did have stress cracks, but didnt have any overlays. He got his lights replaced under warranty
