Default Is this too subtle

Want some opinions on this lip.

I have a 2006 redline (mods listed in my sig) and was thinking of either a Seibon vented hood painted to match or keep the stock hood and get this front lip instead, with no other ground kit, just the lip.

$500 for this lip sounds pricy to me. For $200 more I could have a hood, plus paint of course.

opinions welcome

I'm concerned either will get screwed up when bringing it in for servicing.

I love the way of the rear of my car looks and I like having no ground kit. What I'm trying to do is make the front of the car look a LOT less like one of those smiling toy Cheveron cars

getting the lip with some sides eventually would look awesome...this kit really looks good in person...subtle but def noticable at the same time. if your worried about it getting messed up when it goes in you can always take it off and then put it back on when you get it back. taking the front lip on and off is cake.

i personally think having a hood alone looks a little goofy just my opinion though

If you want to get rid of that smiling look get a long nose bumper. There are some that are pretty ricey (Veilside) but some are executed perfectly (Amuse, Nismo V2, JP Aero..ect) They seem to get rid of that stupid smiley face.
Personally, shineauto project's amuse bumper makes me get a stubby down there.

Was looking at this exact same lip for my '06 as well. Had trouble finding any other '06 lips. Did you find any others? If you get it please post pics. Also curious how it fits.

Thanks

I'm a big believer in quality. I would rather buy a high quality lip at $500 then a cheap replica at half the price.

The only other lip I have seen for the 06 so far, was a carbon fiber cover that just covers the stock piece under the grill.

Not really a lip, just a cover, which makes the smily face look toothless
