Default Anyone purchased this intake duct?

I found these while browsing Ebay...just wondering if anyone had it, and how fitment was. I don't think it's Varis, I don't see it anywhere in the description.

its just a knowckoff of the varis intake, lots of members have them. in theory it would help cause you would get colder air directly to the filter instead of air goin up under the bumper, but i dont think youd see much if anything in dyno, but it looks clean

You got any pics of it? I know it looks just like the varis one in the pics, my biggest concern was how the fitment would be.

you're going to cut a BIG slot for it. just cut it smaller and then trim to fit. that's what i did and have no regrets

I thought I had read about some of the CF Shine duct's being hazy? No offense to Shine, as I'm sure they handled the situation professionally, but I thought I remembered reading that?

i remember reading that too back when they first came out with it - Shine responded with something like "we garuantee satisfaction, if you aren't happy send it back" ** something to that effect

i think they may have resolved that issue though?

i have this one, i've had the shine knock off, and side by side, the ebay one from delsa is better looking, although the one from shine is fully carbon fiber as the one from delsa is just fiberglass with carbon fiber layer on top. it's still a good piece for the price.

because without any moving parts, this air duct is just as reliable as any other duct. the only concern is the quality of the cf and i have the varis cf exhaust heat shields and to me it all looks the same.

obviously they all look the same...but i would have to say the CF on the varis is excellent...pay a little more and get the best craftsmanship or try to save a few bucks and get crappy lookin CF??

i see where you're coming from man, but honestly if you take a look at the air duct i have and a varis one, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference once it's mounted on the car.
