Just say no to knockoffs.

A company who deals knockoffs is a company with no business ethics.

Not everyone has $2,000 to drop on a lip kit.

That is no excuse to buy replica products and hurt entrepreneurs. I am amazed that you would make such a remark since you are a vendor.

This country is based on free market capitalism and survives off of small business. If small businesses are ripped off and not protected, the country is headed for a downward spiral.

Granted that the automotive industry is only a fraction of our GDP, there is still significant capitalization involved.

If I was BS’ing you, SEMA would not have passed regulation that discourages knockoffs and replicas and the Whitehouse would not have endorsed it.

As you can tell, I am very passionate about my beliefs.

You can read a ton of articles on here in regards to counterfeit and knockoffs:

Knowledge is power.

Oh and for the record, yes, I am a shop owner, but, I am an enthusiast first.

P.S. The EXELIFE project is endorsed by some of the largest names in the industry. You name the company, they are affiliated with us.

I also like how companies like Shine Auto claim that they are simply making hard to get parts from Japan readily available by making replicas.

What a load of crap. They are in business to make a quick buck off of consumers, thats the bottom line. I am all for free market caplitalism, but as soon as they made a mold of an kit and resold it under the same name, they crossed the line.

Oh and for the record, a $2000.00 lip kit is a bit extreme unless its made out a special material.

An authentic lip kit such as Vertex will run you about $1100-1200.

IMHO, if you don't have the money to modify a semi expensive car such as the 350Z, get a cheaper car and build that up correctly. By dumping on fake junk onto a 350Z, you are doing what rice boys do to their civics--welcome to 1998.

If you are going to do it, do it right the first time and forget the problem.

And besides, the Z is a badass car stock anyways. Why would you want to ruin the clean lines with kits that do not fit correctly?

I have bought many replicas, and must I say, most have fit perfect, sorry for the pains you must have had yourself with fitment, since you seem to have experience on them not fitting correctly, and installing a replica lip kit on a 350z, has by far, nothing to do with a honda civic or 1998, that made no sence.

One more thing. A replica is a part made just like the real one, sometimes you will find that replicas are in fact of better quality than the real deals... Sorry to bust your bubbles, but, if you pay for something, and you paid very cheap, it will be cheap, no matter what it is, and expensive, is expensive, but name brand **** is just overpriced. Go buy a top secret lip kit, and find that you have to pay 2k plus, go buy a CWEST lip kit, INGS, any of those, will set you back 2k, and when you receive it, it will be the same **** as the replica, just original... pfffffff

to everyone their own.

Your a hypocrit. I assume you work/own the shop in your signature correct? They sell Seibon, who is well known for making replicas.

That's an iffy line. How exactly do you make a replica CF hood? That is not a proprietary design. OEM style is--OEM style.

And if you think its a replica of Nissan you are crazy because I am not arguing on that basis.

If they make something else that is a replica, please, share. Other than that, your remark is flawed.
