I have a 3M clear bra (and panties -- mirrors) on my Z. I love them and swear by them. I have had them on my last 2 cars (the Z is the 3rd now). I track my Z (road course driver ed. events) and it sure beats taping up the front end every event! Of course I would enjoy if Nissan would put on thicker coats of paint since the 3M clear bra doesn't cover the entire car, but it has saved me from several stone-hits already (not even on one year yet).

I went to my local Porsche dealership. They have competitive prices installed for what I would pay to buy it online and have to apply myself. Its a few bucks more sure, but I'm not spending all day doing it and if there is something I don't like, I take it back and they redo that section. 100% satisfaction. I figure if someone is going to spend 6 digits on a sports car (and a 911 is as bad as a Z when it comes to stone-hits with that long hood) they are going to want an absolute perfect job, so why not take advantage of that and have it expertly applied on to my Z as well.
