Default KP Technologies Beeper Module now in a 350Z roadster :)

hey all,

So kevin hooked me up with one of his new beeper modules. I threw it in my roadster, installation was fairly straightforward, i followed the instructions of accordFreak at http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124415

it works well, and i did the addon so that the lights flash appropriately.. i have a video of it in action at: http://www.zippyvideos.com/2595098546300016/beeper/

and yes, i know, i need to have time to fix my reflector.. (bad solder joint)

any questions.. feel free to ask.. (kevin's on here too (kpierson))

I read through the writeup, how long do you estimate it should take (including blinker mod)?

The point is to not have to listen to the stupid horn as a confirmation that your car is locked/unlocked when you're walking away/walking towards it. It sounds a bit nicer is all.

assuming you have all of the scotchlocks, the tap, the relay, diodes, etc.. including soldering time.. maybe an hour or 2 tops.. the time was mostly soldering the diodes, and running the beeper wire through the firewall grommet.. the rest is fairly quick

Thank you Sorphin for being our Z beta tester!

This module is intended to add a bit of sophistication to your car, bringing it to the level of many other high end cars for sale these days.

I personally didn't think I would like this module as much as I do. But, after having it installed for a week or so it really grew on me. I love having audible feedback that the car is locked and unlocked, and I love the fact it's not the horn that is notifying me!
