Default License plate lights don't work... Help..

I went to get the car inspected today but the license plate lights don't work. The button to the lid doesn't either. The shop tried to figure out what is wrong but they said that they would have to tear the whole bumper off. Because the harness is not getting power. Nissan said it will be about $200 hopefully to figure out what is wrong. So can anyone let me know where to find wiring diagrams of the rear lights or if there is a fuse. Or just what to do in general about this. Thank you.

Funny that I ran into this post because I have the same problem and am currently 1/2 way though removing the bumper. In my case I had an aftermarket bumper installed and the installer forgot to plug the assembly back in. In your case It could have fallen out. If you remove one of the tail lights you should be able to see in enough to get an idea of what is going on.
