I always hated the way the rubber finisher looked. You pay $125 for a ****, and get a piece of rubber to sit under it. I always thought it would look much better in metal. Well, I found the solution. Nope, when you screw the **** down, it tightens onto the finisher also. You can put a rubber washer in between just to be sure.

 

Just get a Titanium ARC shift **** like mine and call it a day.

I installed my rubber washer under the boot, also makes the shifter look shorter.
