Has anyone put in LEDs yet behind the smoked markers? This is what I would like to do to my Daytona Blue...

 

yeah I did, I used amber LEDs, wish Id used white.

but it looks good to me either way tho, just think white would have been brighter, and the markers are orange so it would come through as amber anyway, something I didnt know when I bought the LEDs for the project.

 

another, I know they look lighter on top then bottom, dont know why, they look normal in person and at night.

 

where can I get some white LED's for my smoked lenses that come in this week?

How do I install them also?!?

 

skiddazle did a full write up on how to install them and also game www.superbrightleds.com for a place to purchase them. tho radio shack sells them, Im not sure if they are exactly the same.

but just try a search for like DIY leds and you should find it.
