Side Markers clarification???

Side Markers clarification???
It looks like there are all kinds of options on the front side markers. I like the look of switching from amber to clear. Whats the best way to get that look? Covers or switch the whole assembly. Are they visible in the daylight? Are they all LEDS? Sounds like those have problems with replacement of bulbs. I want the look of the factory ones and don't mind spending a couple of more $$. Are they difficult to swap out?
