Default CWest front lip install

Any tips on how to get it to fit? It a REALLY tight fit and I don't want to damage the lip or the fresh paint on the bumper. I tried hooking the corner around the one side of the bumer and then placing the center it but that doesn't work. If I start with the center that fits I can't get the corners of the lip to go around the back on each side of the bumper. Do i have to jack the car up in the front on both sides, put the center in first and then slip each of the lip corners up from the bottom to fit around the sides of the bumper? So confused and I don't want to break it by incorrectly installing it. Any help is much appreciated. The rest of the kit is on I'm just waiting to do the lip.

i did it by jacking up the car on both ends and then tilting the front of the lip downwards then hooking the sides on. it should just pop right on there. also used some painters tape between the lip and bumper while you are fitting it on there. once its installed you can remove the tape and there shouldnt be any scratches.

goodluck and post pics when its on!

I took the front bumper off, bent the bumper inwards (it's urethane), and popped the lip on.

umzzz's idea seems simpler...lol...

When i did my install I did the way umzzz said. Just be careful. I like the way Alex suggested. Less worry more time.

Good luck

You can still sell me the kit

I also have this front lip, just wondering if people used the double sided tape to hold it on or did you screw the lip on. I haven't tried to fit mine yet, just don't want it to pop off if I hit a bump or something.
