Default Vortex Generators....Super Street Mag

I just bought the new super street mag and in then the drive buys section i saw these vortex generators for the 350z. Here's the link http://www.vortekz.com Im interested in these, they are relativly cheap and are similar to the ones on the evo 9. Any thoughts?

Someone already installed the Evo MR's VG and I thought it looked horrible. Do a search for the pic.

Yeah... I'm not a fan at all. Doesn't go with the Z lines.

ok ..#1 reason to get Vortex generators on the roof is to prolong the air flow attachment (ie. prevent early separation) to the rear hatch for only 1 reason, faster airflow UNDERNEATH A WING!!! if you dont have a spoiler, then this will actually induce rear end lift!!!!!

here is yet another great idea that Mitsubishi and Suarbu did that is function on their cars and won't do jack on our Zs unless you have an adjustable high wing.

People will buy just about anything these days without any knowledge of what works and what doesn't just cause of the "cool" factor. I.e. turbonator and SSV.

I remember when I worked on airplanes we would ask newbs how many volts do the vortex generators put out. And 9 times out of 10 they would come up with some number. Haha Too bad they dont generate voltage. I know that was out of contex, but seeing vortex generators reminded me of it.

Im pretty sure those are actually located in the wrong spot to begin with. Also, idk why they angle them like that on the website.. Isnt the point of vertex generators to create a vertex? But if you dont have a wing, im almost 100% sure that'll create low pressure (caused by increase in turbulance) over our rather large/flat trunk region which would increase rear lift. ><
