hey guys,

I dont know much about this and I've searched and came to nothing so I turned to this trusty forum to see if any of you can help me out.

I walked out today to find out one of my head lights blew on my 04z none HID. And was looking around for a replacement bulb. Then I told myself maybe its time for an upgrade and wanted to do HID's.

So my question is, is there a reasonable affordable price to upgrade to HID from none HID? Im almost clueless on this subject. In my search I found allot of kits for $200 or lower... but I dont really know what I'm looking at.

so in summery:

1. can I upgrade?
2. what do I need?
3. can I purchase a plug and play type of HID's?
4. has anyone els done this?

He offered HID kits at an awesome price before, so he should be able to help you out. His kits seem easy to install also.

i donno if they are what you are looking for.

the other option is just buy the entire headlight assembly from an 06 and install on your car. that would look tight, but definitly expensive.

 

plug & play ones are the way to go my friend got them but it also depends what ballast you get always go for phillips or brand name ones so that they don't keep getting F'ed up

 

check ebay for OEM ballasts, get some new phillips or Osram D2R bulbs and install. I think member JUN was selling this kit for around $300.

a major upgrade would be the 06 headlights, you should think about it....good luck.
