Aftermarket steering wheel problems!!!
Ok, I just got my new momo jet steering wheel and also momo hub but when I remove the orignal wheel I notices that there are two color wires (yellow and red), Im thinking that the yellow wire are for the airbag and the red are for the honk, then I when on installing the fuse that came with the momo hub to the yellow wire, and I notices that the airbag lights came on, did I do something wrong here? and also I took it out for a ride and the momo wheel seem very stiff to turn... did i installed wrong?
well the one that came with the momo hub had it label 2 on the fuse mark, isnt that 2ohm? also i didnt see anything rubbing... should it feel like my stock wheel on turning?

Truthfully, I can't remember why you need 2. I would have to remove my steering wheel to see what I did. When I bought my wheel, hub and quick release, it came with 2 resistors. When you connect both, you get no lights.

Any pics ?

I have a Nardi wheel with a Works Bell hub and quick release. I'll check on the resistors tomorrow and let you guys know something. I don't have any good pictures of the hub and wheel
is there a special way to mount the hub? because ive tried every angel and it seem that my wheel are still stiff, should it be that stiff? its so stiff that the power steering doesnt work (I could just bust donut without having to hold onto the wheel... thats how stiff it is). HELP!!!

i think both yellow and red clips are..
after lookin at the service manual, the driver side airbag has 4 connections (as compared to the side seat airbag which only has two.) then goes to three from the spiral conenctor. did you put the resistor between both of them? i.e. connect the red with the yellow with a resistor in the middle?
i think you'll need two resistors for each connector..? just whatever you do. DO NOT PUT MULTIMETER TO YOUR AIRBAG to try to measure the resistance.. the voltage inside might set it off..

If you have removed or are thinking about removing your stock wheel, give these people a call. They sell the kit for our cars that makes the system think the air bag is still in. They have EXCELLENT customer service and the guy is cool. I used them and had to call him at his house to get info and the guy was like no problem, lets talk. So I would highly recommend them, also I did an DIY for the wheel removal. The mom hub does not fit all that great, the company NRG makes a hub that fits perfect..
