Yesterday I switched my OEM **** with a Nismo aluminum ****. When I took off the original there was a gold ring there. I took off the gold ring to put the rubber piece that came with the Nismo ****, and then I put the ring back on. When I was driving around with the new **** I heard this rattling noise coming from the ****. It was the gold ring vibrating. So I took off the **** and removed the gold ring. Is if okay if I put the new **** on without the gold ring?

 

With my MOMO I did not need the gold ring.

 

It is ok , u solved two problems, ---stopped the rattling and have a present for ur GF Valentines Day

Take it out... no need for that with the aftermarket *****...

It will keep rattling... get rid of it!
