Does anyone know the ballpark cost for repainting your bumper and/or hood? i have so many rock chips on both that i need to do something about it (i bought the car used and it did not have a clearbra on it). and will repainting the car make the paint look mismatched? i'm trying to weigh my options:
1. repaint both and go with a lip kit (i like the front lip spoilers better than full bumper replacement body kits)
2. buy full aftermarket bumper replacement and CF hood.

i'm in the atlanta area, if that helps.

If it helps I got an estimate to repaint my rear bumber for $350, I'd say that was kinda pricey because it was from the Nissan dealer.

Wow are you serious? Just for repainting the front bumper? I just went to bodyshop that was recommended by my regional forum, and he quoted me $400 to repaint the whole thing.

 

getting ready to have a fiberglass hood painted quote was $400.

 

yep $500 for the bumper and $500 for the hood. paint match is dead on. i wanted quality since PPW is so hard to match. i took it to service king. i was concerned about the quality, paint matching and warranty.

 

I kinda want to do my front bumper also....

 

I need my front bumper painted badly, but will probably just try to clay the hell out of it when it gets warmer and hopefully the 5ft. rule will apply.

 

I got quoted $550 for nismo front bumper, sideskirts, rear lips, and spoiler. I think it'll be closer to $600 since I'll need him to do a bit extra work.

 

I'd pay that for the rear bumper, if the color match is guaranteed.. I'd never pay that amount for the front bumper, since it needs to be painted every couple of years.
