Default knockoff Nismo/Bride seats

Has anybody seen or used these from Ebay? I know they're knockoffs, but IMO they actually look pretty good. The ones I'm talking about are the "leather" Nismo ones and also the Bride ones. I was just looking for someone with experience with them. Please don't give the typical "just get the real ones". My stockers are rubbed and I don't see giving $1500 for a set of seats. I just want to know how the fake ones hold up and how they feel. Thanks and if you don't have anything productive to add click the little green arrow at the top left of your screen.

Here's a link to the "Nismo" ones and I'm sure most are familiar with the "Bride" ones.

Although I have the real thing, those look purty damn good. And if you wind up not liking them you have'nt invested your life savings like I did. Make sure you ask about rails.

friend had some blue bride variants and the color faded with a few months on the bolsters. The material also wasn't the same as the authentic brides. You could deffinetly tell the difference.

Yeah, I've looked at those as well; they DO look pretty nice. As stated above, I'd be concerned about inferior material wear on the Bride knock-offs, but if the Nismo ones are leather or even vinyl, you'd think they would hold up ok. Just have to make sure they'd fit ok, rails, etc. You typically get what you pay for, but hell, for that price, I think they'd be worth a look. Keep us posted if you try them out!

I put one of these in a buddy's track car and it held up quite well. I also have one brand new black one here if you are interested. Super good deal on it.

Well, I have a black one if you want it. Just one, not a set.

to get rid of the horrible wear on my stock seats they look very appealing... at this point I will not spend 1200 for seats.

I see the leather nismos going into my ride soon. sick of the worn bolsters.

If you get them let me know, because I'm real interested in getting a set.

Here's another set sort of like the other ones, but it's a little different style.

You just said earlier that they aren't that bad, but tacky. I don't see how it's tacky, they look pretty good to me. Now you're saying how bad they are. Have you ever actually used these seats? And what my stock drivers seat has won't be cured by being cleaned.

cleaned? are you not familiar witht he material wear problem? lol,. washing ain't gonna fix anything. and the seat covers cost how much? 50-100? I'll pay the 160+120 shipping and keep mine and eventually buy new oem seat covers and put them back in when I want to sell them. the bolsters in the ripoff seats looks big in both the thigh and torso section which is something I wanted to check out anyway. I am sure if I don't like them I can find a buyer (probably in a 240sx or something!) to take them off my hands for about half what I will pay. that is a good deal to me.
