Default V.2 Spoiler question

I was wondering if the V.2 spoiler will cover the holes if you already have a v.1 spoiler installed.i want to know before i buy one, hate to waste the money if the v.2 wont cover the holes from the v.1.

It will not cover the holes from the V1. The reason being is that the V1 is mounted further up than the v2 wing.

no, as mentioned, The Type E that we sell (through Evo R) it won't cover the holes of the V1. The genuine one is technically not in production anymore, though there are a few lone ones floating around, but it's the same situation as I recall

The USDM rear V1 spoiler actually does use OE mounting holes now as I recall -the original version did not

Well the V2 also uses the stock mounting points, but it also has two more towards the sides.

The V1 uses the stock mounting points, but then two more towards the top, which are alittle too far up for the V2 to cover up. It is about a 1 inch difference from the two.

I had the USDM Nismo V1 wing, and changed it to the V2 wing recently, and ended up with a higher bill because of this.

So going from the OEM to V2 I would be fine. Sweet.
