VQ, I'd seen the Ignited, just not the same, if you ask me. The Z8 button would integrate a lot better in the Z's interior. I swear I can't find that thread anywhere; are threads just disappearing?
im seriously not being an ******* with this question, i would really like to know:
is it really worth the effort to install a pushstart button, when all you have to do in the first place is turn a key??

I think the key has to be in the ignition and turned to "ON" also for it to work. But hey its still cool when people look in and say "wow push start" LOL

...That is correct. I used to have an Ignited push button starter (the ones posted by VQracer) on an old car. You still have to turn the ignition to the on position, so it is just the "COOL" factor, but amazingly enough it is kind of amusing. As other people stated, the S2000 assembly is also an alternative (they go for about $30 to $40 bucks if I remember correctly). Any button assembly will do as a matter of fact because the trick is simply in the wiring - meaning hooking up to the right wires. Also, it is recommended to use a Relay to step down the power to the little button. Not very complicated at all, just figuring out which wires to tap into. You could request the instructions from TDA sports (the Ignition brand) just to see how to hookup the button to the relay to the car, then use whatever button you choose.
...oops, I also forgot to mention, that if you really just want to use the button (without having to use the key), this can also be done. You simply tap directly into the ignition switch and get rid off the key mechanism. Only problem with this is that if someone gets into your car, then they simply push the button and they can drive off with your car. I have a friend who has this settup on a mostly garaged car so that's why he chose to do it.
