I recently purchased some body parts for the Z (Aerosync front bumper, JP Type A sides and rear) and I'm about to have them installed and painted. My Z is silverstone. It's an 03 and never garaged. People had been telling me that the SS is extremely hard to paint match. So I'm starting to think about repainting the whole Z. I know it'll cost some money.... But I'd rather spending the extra money to do it right the first time. I am also thinking about changing the color all together to make the Z a little unique from the crowd. Then I came across this mirror chrome S15 convertible on Super Street. It's truly unique and I don't think anyone had done it. So here are the discussion questions.
1. Any idea what kind of paint this guy is using? I've never seen any chrome automobile paint like this.
2. Is the reflection on the paint US legal?
3. Would it cost me a fortune to get it done?
4. Would you do it? If so, why?
So here's the pic...

thats not a street legal paint job....so if you plan on driving it, you're out of luck. there's a certain legal percentage number of reflectivity that the paint can have. not to mention it looks retarded. just paint it murcielago green and call it a day.

man..can you imagine following a chromed out car in the middle of sunny day? I don't care what kind of sunglasses you got...no way you are gonna follow that car and not start seeing weird funky $hit in your vision.
as far as good colors for blackrims....well, I think you can go a lot of different ways. You want something dark? go with a specialized black color....or maybe something bright like candy apple red. I don't see too many red cars and black rims. I've seen lots of blue cars and black rims.
