I have the C-West lip kit and I can't get to the jackpoint without taking the sideskirts off...the skirts cover it up...guys with lowered or kitted Z's, is there an alternate jackpoint to get the front of the car up?...I need to install my hotchkis tvs-1 package, so my car will be even harder to jack...any advice?...thanks

there's a jack point on the center rear. after lifting, place the jackstands on each side of the frame. There's enough clearance at the front, at this point. raise one, front side and place the stand then the other. You'll need 4 jackstand for this (I have 6).

I drive up on a 2x4 which gives enough clearance for my nismo kit

 

On lowered, kitted cars I use a low profile jack and blocks of wood under the tires.

 

I pull my sideskirts off...takes 5 minutes per side.

 

that's what i expected...sucks, but yeah, its not too much work

 

there's a jack point in the front (I didn't know about this for awhile) it's at the dead center, in line with your wheels... there was an illustration floating around somewhere. it's hard to get to it with the car lowered.

 

you can get an airbag jack, they are used for soft ground and low clearence. once it's off the ground you can put in a jackstand.

 

Yea I've seen that pic around with all jackpoints highlighted. A few of them surprised me heh

 

There is a point in the front if you can get under there. If not try driving on something like others have said.

i made step up ramps, that have a gradual incline. Cost me about $12.00 in parts and a couple hours to make. They're 12 inches wide, so you don't have to worry about missing them and they have a lip at the front so you don't fall off. They end up raising the car about 4 1/2 inches. Just enough to get a large floor jack underneath. The is a beam the runs the length of the car. It is about 12 inches inward from the side skirt. This makes and excellent place to jack up the front of the car. In the rear you can jack the car up from the pumpkin.

 

Or you can get the Takata ramps! Then, there is a brace that runs across the car between the normal jack point and the front tire. You can use that as a jack point.

 

Can you reach these support points under the car?

 

I just jack it from the rear differential then use jacks from the sides to get the car up. Low profile jacks do not even come close to going underneath my car and Takata ramps I cannot even clear with my front bumper. They need to invent something else for cars that are truly lowered.
