I think they are part of the underbody air diffusers... there's a black plastic strip under the air dam too... front chin spoiler I think they call it. I dunno how effective they are.

Bottom car looks familiar!

Agree. That is the rear diffuser. I am not certain if Nissan sells it separately. One minor note about the diffuser: if you make exhaust modifications, most likely the diffuser will have to be removed.

So its attached to a bigger piece that is connected to the fender wel/rearunder body of the car? Damn.

I think it looks cool (dont ask me why I jsut do) and ever since my spacers, all these mud streaks are flying everywhere. There is stuff that was kicked up from my tire on my gas cap. Plus it looks cool hehe.

Nope... It's a fender guard. Since the rear GT wheels sit more flush with the fenders, these help prevent rock chips. It's just a small piece held on by three small screws.

Here another pic for you...

Funny, my base did not come with those and they practically have the same wheels.

The same wheels and "practically" the same wheels aren't the same thing. Those are the 10" wide Rays v2 wheels on the '06 GT and Track models. Never seen those gaurds before; interesting...

Very interesting, it's something I have not seen before.

I have an 06 Z Grand Touring with the same Rays wheels and I do not have that fender thingy sticking out.

Are those 2 Z's in the picture both 07 GT? Because I am pretty sure that thingy did not exist before.

Nope, it's a rock chip-deflecting guard for 06+ models that had the 18"f19"r staggered Rays wheel 5-spoke option for their Z; the part is formally called a "Fillet". The part bears no relevance to aerodynamic intent and is simply used to lessen the affects of rear 19x10.5 stock wheels from kicking up rocks against the sides of the rear bumpers.

I called Garden Grove Nissan and I had to send them pictures for them to know what I was talking about. They are $27.00 a piece but they called me back and said they will sell it for $20.00. Didnt know you can negociate price =). Doesnt seem to come with mounting hardware but they said the clips are $0.90 a piece. Sounds good to me. Ill update when I get them and install it.
