I think splitting the freight would be fair..After all the OP did open the hood up, and test fit the hood to the car.He was not happy with the fitment, which based on the pics, appears to be typical aftermarket fitment issues..The hood was also in his possesion for over 1 month. So I think both of them splitting the freight would be fair.
Im not sure the OP 100% fully understood what he was purchasing and the fitment issues that arise when doing so..Any aftermarket part seems to need alot of wok to make it fit, and Im not sure he was fully prepaired for it.This is a loose loose situation for all involved unfortunately.

OR, I think a 15% restocking fee and allowing Returns would aleviate all of this. (the %15 would cover most if not all shipping and he should make that clear).

Jim can always take returns and if the hoods is NOT defective, (and undamaged) he can re-sell it. If it is damaged, He will get his money back from Seibon in a few weeks and not inconvenience his customers.

Seibon is not one of those china replica sweat shops. They should backup for their product (in term of fitment, especially if they advertise as "fitment is perfect"). Oh well, this is not the first time people have problem with Seibon. Just stay away from them if you don't want to deal with hassle like this. Dohh..!

Jim, I will split the return frieght. Instead of fighting a $650 credit you can issue me one for $600 and I will let the cc company know I am ok with that. Let me know how you wish to proceed. Let's put this behind us and move on.

You can close the thread yourself, you do not need a moderator to do that for you as jonb7007 said.
