yeah they are supposed to be difficult to install on the base model if you have problems talk to the nissan dealership near you they should be able to install it during your next service if your cool with them.

yeah they are a ***** to install. The dead pedal and throttle are cake, but the brake and clutch pedal are a PITA. The best way to prolly do it is to heat up the back rubber of those pedals so its at least a bit more pliable so you can stretch it around. Hope that helps!

I, too, just put in OEM "Aluminum" Pedals. I think they make the interior look much better, even though they are just pedals.
In case you haven't installed yours yet, here's a hint: use WD-40! Do NOT heat them up! Heat will only make the rubber "grippier" and when it cools, it will get harder! Use a stubby flat head screwdriver with a piece of Duct Tape no the blade so you don't scratch anything. Then, spray the metal pledal (pedal once rubber pedals are off) and the inside of the new aluminum/rubber pedals with the WD-40. Wait a few minutes and "slosh" the WD-40 around inside the pedal crevace. It took me almost half an hour trying to put the clutch pedal on. I'd get three of the four corners in and the last was a b!tch! I never really got that one in, without WD-40. Then, I used the WD-40 on the break pedal and it slipped right in! For the accelerator, you might have to break the black pastic clip off of the black plastic (original) pedal and use it on the aluminum one. Also, the accelerator "bar" will be a bit smaller, in circumfrance, that the hole in the new aluminum accelerator pedal. For this, I used 3M double sided tape. Just a little around the accelerator "bar" so the pedal fit nice and snug.
Hope this helps...that is, if you have not installed yours yet.
