Default Funky smell when I turn on my A/C

For some reason when I turn on my A/C this strange smell comes out at first... if I dont turn the A/C on I will not smell it but as soon as I turn it on at first it smells funky, its like a stagnant smell... it doesnt really stink it just smells like moldy or something.... anybody ever had this happen? Im thinking that something is built up in my ac lines or from the outside in... any suggestions guys?

stop farting right before you get out of the car and the stench will not get a chance to sit and fester. possibly reproducing.

Just turn on the heater for a few seconds so the coils will dry out...

find where the AC unit sucks outside air into the car, it will be in the engine compartment. Spray febreeze in it. Do the same thing with recirculate on, by spraying it under the dash into the air inlet.

New Orleans and high humidity equals mold.
Run the air conditioning a few minutes each month in the winter.
Run the heater a few minutes each month in the summer.

Drive with the air conditioning ON and windows OPEN. That should help.

I seem to remember someone saying to spray Lysol in the inlet to cure a smell from AC. If the smell is caused by mold/ mildew, Lysol would kill it. Fabreeze just covers it up.
