Default Question about body shop work

My car was in an accident last summer. I was washing the car yesterday and I noticed spider cracks along the edge on the rear bumper where the bumper meets the tail light. Would is be unreasonable to have the body shop fix the bumper? They also did a bad job on the bottom of the bumper and its bent in between the two holes for the exhaust tip as well as paint chipping off the bumper. Kind of annoying...
I was going to get a new bumper lip for th erear so i wasn't so worried about the paint chipping, but the spider cracks are very visible so Im worried about that now.
What should I ask the body shop to do? Repaint or whole new bumper? Its been 9ish months since I got the bumper fixed.

Well, my body shop would cheerfully repair any faulty worksmanship.

But you realize that all the answers you get here will not tell you anything about what your body shop might do about your car?

Why don't youi visit the bodyshop, and see what you can work out?

If you used the insurance companies "Pro Shop", they typically will stand behind their work. Allstate's pro shop must guarantee their work. Not sure about others, but worth while checking into it.

I just found this today in the afternoon and I dont have the body shops number. I know I can get it though. The body shop was supposed to be very good. My friend had his supra restored there, and it turned out very clean. There were also many old school cars there..
Im going to definately call up the guy. I know this body shop offeres a life time garantee on their work, but I was wondering if the damage is somehow my fault, and what I should expect.
I did not use the insurance companies shop, I chose my own.

i work at a bodyshop, and sounds to me you did go to a reputable shop,I'd take it back to them and ask for the manager first of all, then have him or her look at your car with you,the spider cracks arent your fault, its a paint defect where the paint isnt able to flex the way it should, and point out around the exhaust area also, its a possibility they'll replace the bumper but highly unlikely
