Default Hoodliner

Has anyone installed any sort of dynamat headliner to the hood of the Z? I hope I dont get flamed for this, but the engine noise is a little loud and harsh. I was wondering if there was enough clearance under the hood to add some sort of hoodliner. Also, would there be any negative effects such as overheating? I havent seen or heard of anyone doing this to a Z. any thoughts?

Get headers, hi-flow catalytic converters and the Injen Super SES Cat-Back Exhaust System. You will no longer hear the motor.
