Pics of 350Z emblem please
I just got my 04 back from the body shop. They painted the hatch and re and re'd the 350Z emblem. Could someone post a pic of their 350Z emblem if it is in the stock spot. I don't think they replaced mine exactly where it should be. Thanks
Thanks. Thats what I thought. Not in the exact spot and the "Z" is too far away from the "350". They had to paint the hatch so they took the spoiler off and never bothered to paint it. So they put a scratched up slightly sun faded spoiler over a newly painted hatch. What kind of thinking is that !!?? Some people have their heads so far up their *** they"ll never see daylight.
Body shops only do what their paid to do.
Unless painting the spoiler was part of the work order - it won't be done.
Also from my experience, body shops tend to replace the emblems when removed since they tend not to hold as well when re-gluing the old emblems on.

...or just take off the Z and place it closer. Let the hot sun hit for hour or so or use the hair dryer...you should be able to move it with your fingers...if not...use the dental floss or thin fish wire, once underneath, saw upwards so you don't scratch the paint. Just take your time & re-glue.
