I plan on buying a nismo v2 front bumper, and ings N1 rear and sides. What is a good price to have these painted, and repaint my entire car. I was thinking of painting the entire car either black or staying SS.


What would be a good price for everything painted Black (my car is currently SS)? And what would be a good price for just repainting the entire car SS along w/ the new body kit pieces?


Plz gimme some input because i really dont want to overpay.

 

A total color change can get really expensive and, unless you're planning on pulling the engine and matching the engine bay to the exterior, could decrease the value and overall appearance of your car.
I've been quoted between $3500 and $5000 for a total repaint using the original SB.

No, actually that quote was for a high quality repaint SB to SB-no color change.

I've heard of it costing up to $10,000. Might as well buy a black Z and sell yours.

 

I've searched these boards and done a fair amount of local research w/ good paint shops. That seems a little high to me but not that much. Going to Maaco or some Maaco clone is a decision you are bound to regret.

 

About how much would i be looking at just to get a nismo v2 front bumper painted? and to fix some rock chips and other scratches. Just a rough estimate?

 

I don't know what just the front&chip repair would cost. I do know that paint match could be a real problem.
