not this again. though it would be a nice look, it ruins the structural integrity of the car if not done properly, and that is why the cost is so high

Theres more to a targa top than just hacking off a piece of the roof and putting weatherstripping down. Your chassis will become more flexible and extra supports will need to be placed in response to that. I think thats what they are trying to get at.

no one is listening to me, i dont know exactly what goes into it but he does, and he can make it work, he fabricates roll cages makes all kinds of custom brackets and he makes his own kits. basically if you draw up a kit of your own making he can make it for you. that is how good he is, and he is not over priced.

For that price, it would be ****ty parts. $1500 wouldnt put a dent in the parts, let alone labor. Yes $8000 for this is steep, but $1500 for something like this...never gonna happen when done properly.
