I would paint the sides and rears but leave some CF on the bottom. I got the same front and I left the front middle CF but painted the two side sections SS.

Im glad somebody with a yellow Z bought that kit before I did. I was just getting ready to. It doesnt look toooooo bad, but yeah painting might not be a bad idea, or im sure Intense would let you trade it for the FRP if you wanted to paint it. As long as you like it though dude thats what matters.

Other than a hood, I think that CF pieces when unpainted have an "unfinished" look that detracts from the Z's good looks--- makes you focus more on the small individual CF parts rather than the total look and lines of the Z. Just my opinion...

you're right. The front is a style king replica.

I dunno...as much as I love bare CF...it kind of reminds me of my 5pm shadow...

Default wow great responses

i am really surprised to get all of this feedback. i bought the car about 6 weeks ago and it had that front lip already installed. whoever noticed it was not c-west - good eye. i like the way it looks better than the c-west front lip. i don't know anything about the front lip but the c-west stuff matched the color and weave perfectly. as soon as the car was delivered to me from florida i knew i wanted to continue the carbon look around the bottom of the car for asthetics as well as function. i am thrilled with the way it looks. i love the contrast with the bright yellow and the carbon weave in the sunlight. i also like having the lower areas of the car a material/color that i do not have to be **** about detailing.
i own my own detail business and the last thing i want to do is keep the lower rockers free of tar, debris, and chips. i love the contrast, and it complements the yellow so well. i saw this kit on pikes peak white initially and thought it would be perfect on the yellow.
thanks for the feedback

i'm trying to think if it would look better with a hatch also. i'm not sure it might look to much like bumblebee if you did. i don't know i wouldn't paint it though, kind of defeats the perpose.

i don't know though anyone want to photo shop that. i have mixed feelings about it.

Then you should know the CF will chip just as (if not more) easily than the stock pieces...

The CF look is good, but aesthetically, it looks messy folowing the line where the CF meets the yellow. It would look much cleaner if you painted the top portion of the sides and rears that made a straight cutoff line from the yellow to the CF; you'd keep the look, just clean it up. The upper line molded into the pieces would be a good place to do the cut-off.

5 sec approximation (sux, but you get the idea...):
