Default New Stuff :)

So, I finally got my body kit on. Just washed and waxed the car today and couldn’t resist a few quick photos. It was freezing here today (as I know many of us our experiencing right now) so, hopefully you guys appreciate them.

From here I plan to swap out all the Nissan badges for Z emblems. Need to put on a 3M clear bra asap. I was also thinking of amending the factory shifter to a razo one w/ a black boot. Then who knows…maybe save for a DVD player or new wheels.

To all the GTA people, see you in a month or so for our first meet.

Thanks.

- Mike.

Nice, but needs wheels and a drop badly. You also need to lose the grill, it doesnt work well with the kit IMO.

edit: oops, right forum, thought I clicked on the general (unless they moved it already!! )

Looks good man. Def. need some wheels. If you want a conservative drop that'll still look good w/ 19" wheels I'd recommend Hotckis or Tein. What part of TdotO? I grew up in Scarb/Malvern.

Default Hey...thanks for the compliments

and suggestions. I'm actually in the Markham (Unionville) area. Quite close for sure. Are you coming out to the meet in May?

Sure I'll drive my FI Z 2400miles for a meet! HAHAHAHAHAH Wish I could man. I was there last year in Montreal.

I used to live in Markham too. Like off Brimley past Steels? (sp). My family used to own the Sunoco on corner of Brimley and Sheppard. It's gone now.

+1 on losing the grill...not feeling the grill. The rest of the car is hot! Can't wait to see it in person. I think you can lower it just a tad...don't worry about scaping..it's gonna happen sooner or later.

I don't like the grill either.

It looks like you pained the plastic on the side mirrors and B-pillar because I can see that the front bumper, body kit, rear lip spoiler, and the entire roof color is slightly off compared to the rest of the car.

But overall, the paint job is good.

Default Hey Stray...

Thanks for the feedback. I can see why it may look that way in the pics in reference to the pillars but it is obviously just the sunlight reflecting off the carbon pieces. I went with silver CF b/c it was different (seems almost every Z has black CF) + I actually like the way it keeps the rest of silver theme. It works for me.

I hear you guys on the grille but I will be leaving it for the time being. Need to regroup and decide where to take it from here.

Noodleman…great reference on Velocity auto body. They did a great job. Fitment went really well and paint is perfect. Price was fair and they treated me really well.

Default Hey thanks...

Fitment was really good. No noticeable gaps at all and it would take a hurricane to get it off the car. This is my first kit and considering all that could go wrong with a decision like this, I am super pleased with the way it turned out.

It's kinda weird...I didn't really realize how much I enjoyed the look of this kit until I actually got it on the car, took ten steps back and looked at it. It fits my tastes perfectly. I like to think of it as subtle aggression…if that makes sense.

Looking nice RB, I am not feeling the grill but as long as you are thats all that should matter.

Look forward to checking out your Z.
Also you might want to check out the toronto nissan club, we arrange local mini meets through that board.

Cheers,
Church
