So i installed my LED's in my map light from superbrightleds a couple days ago. When i got home tonight i was sitting my my car finishing a phone call, when i noticed that when my map lights were off, and key was off, you could look up at them and still see them both dimly on. But when i turned the switch in between the map lights from the "door" position (wherethey only come on when the door is open), to the "off" position, they turned off completely. So basically this means they are technically always on, but just barely. Is this norma?? Is this safe?? Anyone else have this issue?? Thanks!
yeah it's safe. something about the leds not needing that much power to be lit and there is still a little power running to it. don't know how to technically explain it but you're fine

this is normal, I had similar issue like this.
For example, if you put the negative terminal on one side of the LED bulb and use your hand to hold the positive terminal and use one figure to touch on the other side of the LED bulb, it will still light up slightly.
So this means LED bulb is very sensitive.
