My Z has the aero package with the little factory wing. I have a geniune NISMO wing on order. Does anyone know if the wing will mount to the factory holes or if I have to drill new ones? I really hope I dont have to drill.

For those that do not know, the Nismo wing sits on a "tray" that mounts to the trunk lid. This "tray" covers up the four holes remaining when the Nissan lip wing is removed, but needs holes of its own to mount to the trunk lid.

Does the base of the wing sit right at the edge of the trunk or couple inches away from the edge of the trunk? Thank you.

First thing is to remove your trunk lid inner liner. That will expose the fasteners tying your lip spoiler into the trunk lid. If you go to the Courtesy Nissan web page and look under the lip spoiler, there is a pdf. file that tells you how to install the lip spoiler step-by-step. What you want to do is follow the instructions in reverse.
HTH.

And sometimes even if you give the body shop those instructions, they STILL screw it up!
I am getting my NISMO (authentic one) painted and installed and the body shop DINGED my decklid taking the stock spoiler off.
Needless to say I was ROYALLY pissed.
