Will the 07 hood fit on an 06?

I dont want a CF hood. Just want to know if the 07 hoods will fit on the 06's

 

I don't see why not. It should be the same dimensions.

 

I wouldn't do it, you'd get flamed, but if you like the hood then go for it.

 

whatever blows your hair back. it should fit but you'll get flamed around here for stuff like that unfortunately.

 

Since I'm a bit green with the Z's Culture. Could you tell me why I would get flamed? I'm just curious. I will make my own decisions but I am intereseted to know why one would get **** for that. Mainly becuase there seem to be lots of folks here with non stock equipt. hoods. IE CF and Ducted.

 

B/C everyone HATES the '07 hood compared to the '03-'06 one.

 

has any1 come out with an aftermarket hood for the 07 yet?

i didn't like 07 hood until I saw one with my own eyes.
But now, I really like the new design hood.

 

yeah...i love the hood on my 07, better then the hood on my 03....

 

^^Niiiiice SMB Roadster!!! Yeah, I was a bit worried until I saw the hood in person. Now, it's normal to me.

 

That's a very broad statement

Some like it and some do not. But not EVERYONE hates it. Can't wait for mine to arrive

It should fit. The new hood looks better in person for sure and I really like it now.

 

I like it myself as well, especially when I first saw it in person. I think once I get the car kitted, I would like to try and pickup an '07 hood and install it on my Z. I think it would look good.

However, to each their own.
