Default 06 projector temperture

does anyone know how hot it gets around the lens of the projector of an 06? and if not how would i go about finding it out?

not very hot. I'm guessing 150 F?

I know it could probably handle over 200F

Why do you ask?

That is simple if you know someone with a Raytek minitemp. Point and shoot. It's got a laser dot that reads temp in a millisecond.

yah i thought about that....but idk anyone with one...so i wondred different options

do shops have those usually?

well there are different types...the mini ones are 80-100....the bigger ones that have more features are more expensive...

this was point and shoot and i could make people's dogs and cats chase the thing in circles for hours.

nooooo it was definitely a temp gun, digital read out and it took a 9V battery in the handle

I have one, $80 bucks. alot of racers have em. Prices very, just try to find someone and borrow theirs.
