Question Greddy Front lip

I just got my Greddy front lip install today, but there is a small gap under both side of the front reflector. Anyone else has the same problem? If so, how did you guys fix that problem?

My bodyshop used silicone adhesive. Double sided tape might also work.

I made a post in this forum about messing my lip up and needing some sort of adhesive to fix it with. I'm trying to find out exactly what kind I should use to stick it to the bumper again with...

My lip sticks to the bumper, but i am just being picky because there is a small gap in each side. Its not too noticable but you can see it as you get closer to the car. I will try to post some pic later.

Thanks for the info!!

Silicone adhesive is the way to go. I had the same problem with my Veilside v1 lip and the silicone fixed it right up. Just use a little stick or toothpick or something to get some down in the gaps, then set something heavy up against the lip to hold it in place, wipe off any excess, and let it cure.

I have some left over Polyurethane Silicone works as a sealer/adhesive/etc.. you can use it if you want. When I mounted the Greddy lip on mine I didn't notice any real major gaps or anything thats a little weird. The drying time is only probably an hour or so (can be less if your not paranoid) Just let me know if you need it.

Like I said, maybe I am just being picky, the gap is not that bad, its only noticable when you get close to the car. I will try to post some pic later today.

But thanks for the offer Angelo, I will let you know.

Here are some of the pic of my Greddy front lip

I think the front looks fine from far away.

But there is a small gap on both side.

Am I just being too picky or the gaps are noticeable?

I just find out the Greddy lip sit prettly low and my car is not even lowered. Anybody know where I can get a rubber piece that attach to the bottom of the lip?

I saw that in one of the thread before, but I am unable to locat it. Anyone?

same problem, I left mine alone incase i want to take it off in the future... If you end up using some kind of duramix or durable epoxy I would be concerned with taking it off an messing up the original bumper. I personally think its so close that most people dont even see it or notice it.

From what I see the gaps you mentioned are there, but aren't really that bad. I'm not sure how bad it would look in person, but to me it looks decent and acceptable. I'm not sure if there are any white filler silicone type of products since all I've seen are clear and black. It looks good though! paint looks clean from the pictures. PM me where you took it to get it painted and let me know when your in the area I changed up the look a bit since you've seen my car.

Yeah, I might just leave it the way it is since I might change it in the future. I am still looking for the rubber/plastic that attach to the bottom of the lip. I couldnt find that one website that sell it.

Anyone has any idea??

Some of that really hardcore 3m double sided tape might hold it.

I'm personally going to be expoxying my lip back to the silicone adhesive that's still in there. I'll be doing it myself this weekend.
