Go the the katzkin web site, click on local installers, they can order and install for you. www.katzkin.com

Has anyone with side impact airbags installed aftermarket leather yet? I want the airbag system to function after I have leather installed.

Default Nice car

Yes, it can be done. I had it done on mine. I arranged for it through my dealer. The dealership uses Classic Leather and Trim I'm pretty sure that's the name. I was first told that I would have to give up the side air bags but then they got back to me and said that it could be done preserving the side air feature. The installer assures me they will deploy (hopefully I'll never find out) and the Nissan Sales Manager assures me that the warranty and everything thing else is in tact. He assured me that Nissan backs this install up. I don't know if the same can be said for other company installs such as KatSkin. Classic Leather and Trim is natioal so there should be one somewhere near you.

Default oops! had the name wrong

It is Classic Soft Trim.
It cost me 700.00 (I think I could have done better but they said it's more with side air)
I dealt with Brad in Chattanooga Tennessee 423-266-3772
He told me they had dealer locations in many major cities
You can probably search for dealer at their web site
http://www.classicsofttrim.com/index.html
FYI they could not at that time match the sunbust orange Oh well!
Good Luck and let me know if I can be any further help

I was a little wary because I was dealing with an out of town dealership. Everything was done over the Inet and phone. I could not See or touch the leather before hand. I went entirely on the assurances of the SM at the dealership and the installer at the leather place. That was the main reason I played it safe with the color and got Charcoal. They had many colors to choose from but being a photographer I knew you can't always trust color accuracy on a web page. It's not like kid leather(super soft)
It's a heavier duty leather. What I would want for daily use. Looks like it will hold up very well. The stitching looks strong too. They will work with you on what you want. Two tone for a racier look or solid for a more subtle look. You can get smooth or perforated and they will do a contrast stitch if you want. They do the extra seat panel at the crotch in the drivers side just like the factory leather. I wish I had a digital camera I would post a picture. But they have many pix on the web site. All in all I'm very happy with the quality and the install! When my car was delivered to the dealer they called to tell me it could be picked up. The sales guy said he thought it was nicer than the factory leather. i'm sure that he was stroking me. I'll see if I can borrow a camera and get a picture up here. Anyway you will have the advantage of being able to go into the shop and checking it all out before you make your decision.

Default Ahhhhh..soft leather...

I bought the Classic Soft Trim thru the installer (and met them via the dealership).
They allowed me to pick any colors I wanted..including the embroidery.
Same price (plus tax), both seats, and installed!

My tushy loves 'em ;-)

CST sounds great. Anyone know if they can add lumbar support to the seat?
