Default Got my car back from the body shop

So i got my car back today from the body shop everything was perfect or it seemed. My body guy is top notch but i notice now that my airbag light is flashing slowly. Hes sayin his guy from nissan will come monday and fix it. But do you thiink it will cme back on again im really concerned are my airbags working. They didnt deploy the hit was around 15mph people are sayin it needs to be reprogramed but the body shop guy says it just needs to be cleared

They disconnected the seat's wiring harness without disconnecting the battery first, hence the warning light. You can reset it yourself. The procedure has been listed here in a few different threads. Search for them.

thnx i was hoping it was something like that. If i recall the procedure is to disconnect the battery for like 20min is that correct? Or do i got to do like hit the throttle like a few times and start it turn it off i remember reading something like that ill search thnx for your input.

you need to go through a set of steps w/ the throttle...disconnecting the battery doesn't work for this. Technosquare has the procedure on their website.

*there's a part where you need to have the timing really close (IIRC it's every 10s)...if you leave the door open, the chime that goes off is at every 1s, so you can just count that instead of watching a stop watch.

thnx anyway i fixed it today no need for steps with the throttle. I found instruction on a old post. I had to turn it off then on then wait seven seconds for the air bag light to flash then turn it off then wait 3 seconds and do the same thing 2 more times 3 intotal. Then that makes it go into diga mode then u do the same thing pretty much 3 more times and then i turned it off then started it and no air bag light. I was driving it all day never came back on either.
